Craps Glossary

Craps has a language all of its own that will mystify a newcomer.  Don't worry, you can learn all the slang, jargon and terminology that the crew and players use on this page.

You don't have to use all the terms listed here in a casino and you may sound like an amateur if you were to do so.  If you're new at Craps then listen to the other players and when and how they use Craps slang, terms and phrases.  You should pick it up pretty quickly and if you get stuck on what a word or expression means, you can look it up in the list below.  You'll soon sound like a seasoned pro.

Some of the explanations won't make much sense unless you have grasped the fundamentals of the game.  If you haven't, then try reading basic Craps in a casino, first.
