Although the game was released in 2016, it is still a big hit in many leading online casino sites. Unlike other table games like Blackjack, the outcome in Vegas Craps is purely based on luck. If you are just starting your adventure with online craps, this brand may seem a little bit complicated because so many things are happening simultaneously. However, Vegas Craps game is played with the basic rules used in playing other standard online craps. Note that to understand the rules of playing, you need to know the bets of the game and how they work. By reading this article, you will understand how the gameplay works and the different betting options you can play.

The Rules of Playing Vegas Craps Game

Before we look at the rules of playing, it is essential to understand a few basics about the gameplay. Vegas Craps is played using six-sided dice, and the player is referred to as ‘the shooter.’

Basically, you will be required to roll a pair of dice while other players bet for or against you. The first and foremost important rule to note is that the combinations determine the odds and payouts of the game. Also, each player is given the opportunity to roll a dice or to become a shooter.

When you play Vegas Craps online, you will find chips with different values ranging from $1.00 and increases to $200. In case you join the game when another player is rolling the dice, you are not allowed to place a wager until the current shooter lands 7.

As mentioned, understanding dice combination plays a vital role in your gameplay. Each dice has six identical sides marked with numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. The shooter starts by rolling the dice off the opposite side of the table. This first dice roll is called the come-out roll.

All the bets in Vegas Craps must be placed on the marked section on the table before the game starts. You will come across different options like the Straight bet, Field bet, Pass/Don’t Line bet and many others.

In case the shooter’s come-out-roll turns out to be 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 then a ‘Point’ is established. Note that for the wagers on Pass Line to win, the point must be rolled before 7.

Last but not least, the goal of the game is to predict the out of a rolled dice. If 12 is rolled on the come-out-roll, then Don’t Pass Line wagers will be pushed, and the Pass Line bet loses.

Vegas Craps Bet Rules

Before you start using any rules, it is essential to understand how each one of them works. Here are the basic rules of using these bets:

Field bet: The player bets on 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11 or 12 in the marked area.

Pass Line & Don’t Pass bets: You must be able to determine whether or not to Pass a Line. The Pass Line bet offers even payout if the roll outcome is 7 or 11. The Don’t Pass bet is the exact opposite of Pass Line and is placed against the shooter.

Come bet: The bet may be placed on every roll of dice once a Point has been established. This bet works more or less like the Pass Line bet.

Hardways Bet: This bet is stacked on a specific double resulting on the next roll. This bet can be placed on numbers 4, 6, 8, or 10.
